Krystal Marie Balm
Krystal Marie (born on November 24, 1982) is an American political commentator. She was previously a politician, as well a TV host on MSNBC as well as a regular contributor for The Huffington Post, and the former co-host of The Hill's Rising along with Saagar Enjeti. In the month of May, 2021 Ball and Enjeti announced that they were quitting the show to launch their own project titled Breaking Points with Krystal and Saagar. Ball co-hosts Krystal Kyle & Friends' podcast alongside Kyle Kulinski. She has made guest appearances on various networks, including CNN, CNBC, Fox News as well as programs like Real Time with Bill Maher. Ball was married to Jonathan Dariyanani as of 2020. Ball attributes her increased enthusiasm for politics to having a mother during 2008's primaries. Additionally, she was a witness to the US election outcome during her time in Jordan. She witnessed the impact the election had on the people in her country and was inspired to appreciate the international influence of US politics. She was a Senior Fellowship of the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party nominee for Congress in Virginia's 1st congressional district in the election of 2010, but lost to Republican incumbent Rob Wittman. She was the host of The Cycle, a MSNBC television show she co-hosted from June 2012 through August 2015. She founded the People's House Project, an action committee working for Democratic causes in May of 2017.
